Janet Eason

Janet is an experienced brand strategist who is passionate about finding the DNA of a great boutique hotel.  She loves travel, cooking, good books, and hanging out with her family, including her rescue dog, Augie.  She is a Southerner at heart, but has spent many years working with hotels and inns in the Northeast.

She has worked on both the agency and client side in the hospitality and lifestyle industries - from destinations, to airlines, to hotels, to restaurants - she brings an innovative perspective to problem solving, and building connections between consumers and brands.

Before launching Eason Branding, Janet was the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Main Street Hospitality, a hotel management company.  She managed all facets of marketing for a number of boutique hotels in the Northeast.  Her work ranged from new hotel launches to brand repositioning for more established hotels.

Prior to that role, she served as the Executive Marketing Director for Colonial Williamsburg  where she led all marketing initiatives for five hotels, three golf courses, a 5-star spa and 10 restaurants.

Janet’s background also includes agency experience working with global hospitality brands including The Islands of the Bahamas, Barbados Tourism Authority, Emirates Airlines and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.  She was responsible for marketing performance and brand growth for all clients.

Sydney Eason


Sydney is an energetic creative thinker, a self proclaimed research nerd and a solution oriented problem solver. As a Southern girl with wit and sass, she loves holidays, music, dance and all things NYC.

Having worked on the agency and client-side across industries—from food and hospitality to lifestyle and CPG brands—she brings an innovative perspective to problem-solving, shaping brand perception and customer experience.

Before co-founding Eason Branding, Sydney was an Account Director at HangarFour. Prior to that role, she was a Senior Digital Strategist at Main Street Hospitality where she led social media strategy for five hotels, including Hammetts Hotel which opened during COVID-19.

Sydney's previous experience in the hospitality industry includes leading a social media and influencer strategy for Visit Florida, The Dunes On The Waterfront, The Red Lion Inn and others. She previously led digital ideation & content strategy for tech, entertainment, corporate, hospitality, media, non-profit & consumer brands including PBS, Delta, L’Oréal, Gods Love We Deliver, Joanne Trattoria, and many more.
